Harvard GSD Names New Dean
Sarah Whiting, who now leads the Rice University School of Architecture, has been named the new dean of Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. She will assume the post on July 1, 2019. She succeeds Mohsen Mostafavi, who’s held the post of dean for the past 11 years.
Whiting earned her undergraduate degree from Yale, her M.Arch from Princeton, and a Ph.D in architecture history, theory, and criticism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
